This is what happens to a wind turbine that’s hit by a hurricane when it has a broken anemometer. Notice that the one that’s on fire is facing the opposite way to the others. The working ones have been shut down and pointed out of the wind by the on-board anemometer. It’s not an inherent problem with wind turbines, it’s a mechanical fault in that one.
